Food Pantry

Saturday, April 11, 2009

Many of you may not know that the Coweta Food Pantry was started right here at St. Paul's many years ago It grew so large that it had to be relocated to a larger space in downtown Newnan. After many years in this location, the Food Pantry has now moved to a brighter and larger space on Temple Avenue (about 2 miles from St. Paul's). Each month church volunteers help to distribute food to those in need. St. Paul's month's to volunteer are April, August and December. Because of the increase in need, the hours have been extended from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm, Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Volunteers are needed to sign up for a part or a whole shift. Please see the sign-up sheet on the "Here I Am, Lord" bulletin board. This is a wonderful way for those with a few spare hours to help feed God's people of Coweta County. Please pray about your involvement in the Food Pantry.
