Get involved this holiday season at Emmaus House
Volunteers are invited to join efforts at Emmaus House to gather turkeys for Thanksgiving and deck the halls for Christmas with Peoplestown neighbors. Emmaus House has published a Holiday Event Guide (download PDF), which includes details about each event and lists many ways to participate. Holiday events include: assembling Thanksgiving baskets, October-November; Christmas family partnerships, November - December; Senior Strollers’ luncheon, Dec. 11; Grandparents Party, Dec. 15; Secret Santa Shop, Dec. 20; and Children’s Christmas Festival, Dec. 24.
